Lyn Hall the Proprietor, is an Advanced Guild Commended Framer in both Textiles and Mountcutting Design and Function, and is internationally recognised as one of the leading Mount Cutters in the UK.
She has been framing for 25 years and during that time has won many awards both for her work and business. Her business is located between Guildford and Farnham, Surrey, but her customer base stretches all over the UK and internationally.
Lyn also runs a picture framing training school from her Workshop where she offers personal tuition to individuals or couples. Full details of courses can be found on the training page but customised courses are available on request. The training given is suitable from novices through to experience professionals wishing to update their skills. All training is conducted to GCF standards, with emphasis on conservation techniques.
Customer service is, without question, the most important feature of Fringe Arts - you will be given all the time and service you need to help with your projects. We stock a large range of mouldings, mountboards, glass and fittings in order that we can give our customers the widest choice available.
All work undertaken in the workshop is unconditionally guaranteed and all items are fully insured whilst being handled by us.
Fringe Arts is an active member of the Fine Art Trade Guild and is a strong advocate of its Code of Ethics.
Lyn has been closely connected with the Fine Art Trade Guild for many years and is an Examiner for the Guild Commended framer qualifications.
