In the past I have had some large and interesting items to frame including a valuable Chinese Embroidery, 4 Moroccan rugs and a 10 metre wide tapestry. Fringe Arts was appointed by Lion (India) to set up and run workshops in Calcutta and Mumbai.

Fringe Arts and The Art of Framing Training School go to India.
This year the Fine Art Trade Guild arranged two framing competitions, both with an Olympic Theme because of Athens 2004. The prize is a hand-cast Bronze Trophy as shown in the photograph.
In December 2004, Fringe Arts relocated to a new workshop between Guildford and Farnham.
We are now stocking a complete range of UV Protective Glass including Truvue Conservation Clear and Schott Mirorgard Waterwhite UV. Whilst the Waterwhite UV is expensive it is proving to be a best seller because not only does it give above 90% protection to your artwork from UV rays, it also does not distort the colours in your artwork and gives the appearance of having no glass at all. Giclee printing is a digital printing process which makes it possible for Artists and Photographers to have their work put into print, without the commitment of having to print "long runs". The costs are not prohibitive and the reproduction is first class. If you have ever considered putting your artwork into Limited or Special editions, contact us for more information about this process.
